The Store at the Alaska State Museum

The museum store is closed during the construction of the new State Museum, Libraries, and Archives building at 395 Whittier St., Juneau.
In the interim, The Friends office has moved to the circulation library on the 8th floor of the State Office Building.
Visit the store in the new State Libraries, Archives and Museum facility in the spring of 2016!

The mission of the Friends of the Alaska State Museum Store is to operate a nonprofit retail store with the purpose of educating customers about Alaska, selling museum-quality authentic products, and returning the profit from those sales to the Museum trust account.   The funds raised by Museum Store are used to support and augment the Alaska State Museum in its mission of collecting, identifying, preserving and interpreting the human and natural history of Alaska.
