The Store at the Alaska State Museum
The mission of the Friends of the Alaska State Museum Store is to
operate a nonprofit retail store with the purpose of educating
customers about Alaska, selling museum-quality authentic products, and
returning the profit from those sales to the Museum trust account. |

| The funds raised by Museum Store are
used to support and augment the Alaska State Museum in its mission of
collecting, identifying, preserving and interpreting the human and
natural history of Alaska.
In 2006, The Friends opened a second Museum Store located at 124 Seward
Street in downtown Juneau.
