Become a Friends Member or Friends Volunteer
Friends volunteers and board members host
receptions, raise funds through operating the gift store and provide other
help as needed.
Benefits of being a Friends member include free admission
for the member and a guest to the Alaska State Museum in Juneau and the
Sheldon Jackson Museum in Sitka, a 10% discount at both museum stores, a Friends
newsletter, educational opportunities, invitations to exhibition
openings and other special events, and a vote at membership meetings.
To become a member of The Friends of the Alaska State
Museum, submit a Friends membership form and fee in one of the amounts shown below. Your
membership is essential to assisting the Museums in their job of helping
us know the past, the present and each other.
